안녕하세요. 오늘 혼자 공부할 영어내용은 영어뉴스 제목으로 영어 배우기입니다. 영어뉴스에서 제목, 타이틀만 제대로 해석해도 뉴스내용을 해석하는데 정말 많은 도움이 됩니다. 제가 영어로 된 뉴스지문을 모두 해석할 수준이 되지 않지만 연습을 하다 보면 제목을 어떻게 해석하냐에 따라서 지문을 읽는 속도가 다르더라고요!

요즘 러시아의 우크라이나 침공으로 언론에서 연일 다양한 속보를 쏟아내고 있습니다. 특히나, 선진국을 시작으로 글로벌 회사들까지 러시아 제제에 나서고 있습니다. 그중 대형 결제수단 회사인 Visa와 Mastercard가 러시아에서 영업중단을 선언했습니다. 여기서 쓰인 단어가 pull out of로써 사업이나 프로젝트, 어떤 무언가를 중단하거나 발을 뺄 때 사용하는 좋은 영어 표현법입니다.
As we've been reporting, payments giants Visa and Mastercard are pulling out of the Russian market in protest at its invasion of Ukraine. Together, the two companies control 90% of credit and debit payments in the world, outside of China.
